Come and join the fun at the 2023 Young Artist Juried Art Fair, held at First Presbyterian Church of Northville. This event is a great opportunity to appreciate and support young local artists aged 7-18 who will be showcasing their creative talents with unique artworks, gifts, and music performances. Not only will visitors have an enjoyable time browsing through these amazing creations, but all proceeds from the fair will go toward funding next year’s program as well! The Northville Art House Inc. is an incredible 501(c)3 non-profit art facility located in the heart of Northville, Michigan. Established in March 2005, it has since welcomed over 20,000 artists and community patrons to engage with the arts and express their creativity. The Art House's home is the historic Scout Building at 215 W. Cady Street, designed in the Colonial Revival style and formerly used by the Northville Boy and Girl Scouts. The Art House has something for everyone! From classes and workshops to exhibitions, studio rentals, artist talks, field trips, special events and more – we have plenty of opportunities to get involved with art appreciation. The Art House is a multi-faceted creative experience center, with exhibitions, an artisan store, interactive art events, educational programs, and community outreach. Located in Northville, Michigan, it offers a variety of fine art exhibitions, classes and events for all ages and skill levels. Exhibitions feature established, emerging, and student artists with artworks in a variety of mediums. The Artisan Store features consigned artwork from local and regional artists, while monthly exhibitions enhance awareness of fine art and artists through individual and community collaborations. The Art House also offers lectures, films, creative activities, classes, workshops, summer camps, after-school instruction, and virtual classes. Through its partnership with the Northville Public Schools PTA, The Art House provides on-site instruction to local students through the Young Artists After-School Art Program, dedicating $3 per student back to the PTA.
